Luc Bellier — Art Moderne & Contemporain — Paris
Luc Bellier compte parmi les regards les plus singuliers et les plus avisés du marché international de l’art moderne. Son parcours s’est construit autour de transactions majeures et d’expositions parisiennes historiques consacrées à Munch, Picasso ou Otto Dix. Parallèlement à ses contributions pour l’Art Institute de Chicago et le Musée d’Orsay, sa trajectoire se distingue par une donation de premier plan au Centre Pompidou.
Descendant d’Alphonse Bellier, c’est néanmoins en autodidacte qu’il a tracé sa propre voie, après une période formative dans le cinéma auprès de Jacques Tati. Sa collection contemporaine témoigne d’un éclectisme singulier, réunissant des œuvres marquantes d’Anri Sala, Julie Mehretu et Kori Newkirk, Pope L., Richard Avedon, Vincent Desiderio, Wolfgang Tillmans.
